Welcome to ICON UK - the IBM user group
ICON UK is the new name for the largest IBM community gathering in the UK. Previously known as UKLUG, ICON UK embraces not only Lotus professionals, but any IBM software professional.
ICON UK will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2013, in the Brighton Grand Hotel.
Join us and up to 300 other IBM professionals to learn, network, share experiences and highlight best practices. There's a wide range of technical sessions including some of the latest developments presented by some of the leading speakers in the IBM community. Its only rarely that you get so many excellent speakers in one place outside of Connect.
Registration for ICON UK 2013 is now CLOSED as we prepare for the event.
Can we invite you to dinner?
We've decided to combine the idea of a 'no fixed agenda' conference with a great social dinner and really kick start our two days in Brighton. So prepare yourself for a great evening of thought provoking talks, fun experiences and a fabulous dinner. PLACES ARE LIMITED and once they are gone, they're gone, so make sure you book early!
For more details and to book your tickets, head over to our Dedicated Website
If you have any comments or questions don't forget that we have a Forum on our site as well - you can see the 'Forum' tab at the top of the page. Conference attendees will already have been sent access details and if you would like access then please send us a request via the 'Feedback' button above.

A further thanks to Uffe Sorensen, Social Business & Collaboration Director IBM Software Group, who delivered a great Keynote. Can we also say thankyou to all our Speakers who delivered the rich content that adds so much value to UKLUG.
UKLUG is fully supported by our Sponsors. So we would like to say a special thankyou to our Sponsors at UKLUG 2012 who made it all possible. Please be sure to drop by our 'Sponsors' page and check them out. If your company is interested in sponsoring a future event then please email Warren Elsmore.
Can we also extend our thanks to Cardiff University who provided a great venue for UKLUG 2012. An IBM customer themselves, Cardiff University gave us a great presentation in London, all the way back in 2008. Now we have returned the favour by bringing UKLUG to Cardiff.
As Paul Mooney blogged 'it checked all the boxes: Energetic, fun, engaging and content-rich'. We had a great turnout with a lot of old friends and also new faces amongst the attendees. The Manchester Museum Of Science And Industry was an excellent venue where we presented over 30 great sessions.
Thankyou to everyone who joined us in Manchester and made it such a great event. Further thanks to Ted Stanton IBM WW Exec for Software Solutions for a great keynote, and thanks to our excellent speakers. We would also like to give a special thankyou to our sponsors who made UKLUG 2011 possible.
We have now had four UKLUG conference events which have proved to be a real success. You can get some idea of their impact from this feedback from Manchester and our previous Edinburgh conference:
"First let me say, fantastic work by the UKLUG organizers and crazy hard workers. They did a fantastic job again. Great location, great sponsors and great organization." Carl Tyler
"It was another great UK Lotus User Group in Edinburgh. Very well organised, by some great volunteers, and excellent value as it was free to attend" Paul Farris
"UKLUG is done for another year, and what a fantastic conference it was. Warren, Kitty and the rest of “Team Amazing” did the unthinkable yet again. I honestly have no idea how these guys manage to put on such superb events, and for free too" Ben Poole
